Reduced Disputes
Councils and users operate from consistent records of bookings and transactions
From booking to record, automatically
Step 1 – Book
A club books a field for Tuesday training, 6pm to 8pm. They receive a confirmation outlining their scheduled usage.
Step 2 – Activate
At 5:30 PM, the car park lights turn on for arriving users.
At 6:00 PM, the main venue lighting automatically activates and adjusts to the pre-set levels required for the booking.
Step 3 – Use
The club conducts its training session.
At 8:00 PM, the lights automatically dim to signal the conclusion of the booking.
The main lights turn off completely at 8:10 PM, while the car park remains at full brightness for a safe departure until 8:30 PM, at which point they dim as well.
Step 4 – Transact
The booking generates a debit against the club’s account. The club receives confirmation of the transaction and updated balance.
Step 5 – Record
Easylite records the booking, the duration, the transaction and any manual overrides or additional usage. Both the council and the club have a matching record of usage, supporting transparency and reducing the likelihood of future disputes.
From sunk cost to recovered asset
Easylite combines bookings, financial transactions and system activity into one transparent reporting platform. Councils get full oversight and users stay clearly informed. Lighting stops being an unrecovered cost and becomes a recovered, accountable asset.
